Soča Splash offers two caving excursions from Bovec with prices ranging from 85 € to 105 €. For a complete immersion, choose the Srnica or Mala Boka session which lasts 3h and is open to everybody. If you prefer a shorter mountain adventure, the 24 min option provides a quick rush in the Soča Valley. The guides speak Slovenian and English for the longer tour. Book directly and confirm which cave system is available on your date, as the layout and depth vary between the two main options.
Srnica or Mala Boka Caving Excursion from Bovec
The 3h duration and accessible physical level make this the most balanced entry point into the Julian Alps underground systems.
Bovec Mounatin Caving Adventure
This 24 min mountain adventure is the fastest way to experience the Bovec cave environment for 105 €.
Navigating tight passages in total darkness is typically the sharpest adrenaline hit in caving. Your headlamp becomes your only reference point, and the underground silence amplifies every sound your body makes.
If you have claustrophobia, communicate it before the session. The guide from Soča Splash can adjust the route or pace. The physical level is listed as everybody welcome for the 3h session, but tight squeezes are part of the experience.
Both are cave systems near Bovec in the Julian Alps, but availability depends on conditions on the day. Confirm with Soča Splash at booking which one you'll enter and what the main features are.
3h is a full immersion without being extreme. It gives the guide time to move beyond the entrance zone and show you deeper formations, which is where the real atmosphere kicks in.
