Bungee Jumping in Germany: the 6 Best Spots to Jump

8 min read · April 2026

100 m from a crane in Düsseldorf, 50 m above Hamburg's harbour, 60 m in Berlin's alternative culture heartland: bungee jumping in Germany is done exclusively from mobile or fixed cranes, all TÜV-certified. Bridge and dam jumps aren't permitted in the country. Prices range from €79 (Leipzig) to €120 (Hamburg) for a solo jump, compared to €200-260 in Austria or Switzerland for twice the height. Six spots, six different vibes, one thing in common: limited jump dates that require advance booking.

The 6 Best Bungee Jumping Spots in Germany

Düsseldorf (100 m, the highest)

The permanent station on Piniensstraße offers Germany's highest bungee jump. A comfortable gondola takes you up to 100 m, with panoramic city views. 3 seconds of free fall, €109 solo, €150 tandem. Season from May to October, with Bungee Action running regular dates. Up to 3 companions in the gondola (€5 per person).

No climbing required: the gondola drops you at the platform in minutes.

Kiel (100 m, the most exclusive)

Same height, same operator (Bungee Action), but a radically different schedule: just 2 to 3 dates per year, July and August only. €109 solo. Germany's joint height record turned into a rare event. If your schedule lines up, this is the most exclusive jump in the country.

Hamburg (50 m, the most atmospheric)

163 steps up an authentic 250-tonne harbour crane at the Deutsches Hafenmuseum. Views over the Elbe, the port, and the museum ship Peking. €120 solo (the highest price in Germany), €160 tandem. From April to October, Vertical Sports Events (Jochen Schweizer group) runs sessions roughly every two weeks. Video: €19.

The climb on foot is part of the experience. Every step raises the stakes.

Berlin (60 m, the most urban)

The RAW-Gelände, a former industrial site turned alternative culture hub in Friedrichshain, hosts a mobile crane on select summer Saturdays. Fall speed: around 100 km/h. €90 solo, €160 tandem. Bungee Sports GmbH, operating since 1994, schedules 4 to 6 dates between June and September. In May, a jump over water is available at Werder/Havel during the Baumblütenfest (from €70).

Raw setting, concrete and graffiti. The Berlin jump is unlike any other.

Not to be confused with "Base Flying" at the Park Inn on Alexanderplatz (125 m): a controlled cable descent, not a real bungee jump. No free fall, no rebound.

Munich / Oberschleißheim (50 m, the oldest)

At the turquoise basin of the Olympia-Regatta-Anlage in Oberschleißheim, you jump from Germany's oldest bungee site (operating since 1995). €100 to €120 solo, with the "Deep-in" option to touch the water at the end of the fall. Vertical Sports Events sets up the crane from May to October, roughly twice a month. The Olympic basin (1972) provides a setting urban cranes can't match: turquoise water, lawns, and quiet.

For something higher, the Europabrücke in Austria (192 m) is just 1.5 hours away.

Leipzig (60 m, the cheapest)

ZATO Bungee sets up its crane by the Cospudener See near Leipzig for a handful of dates in June and July. €79 solo: the lowest price in Germany. TÜV-certified since 2011. The only regular spot in eastern Germany.

For a tight budget, this is it.
