Skydive SPA runs one tandem skydive from 4,000 m above Spa, rated 5/5 across 77 reviews and priced at 240 €. The jump is open to everyone, no prior experience required. Plan for a half-day at the dropzone: briefing, gear-up, climb to altitude and freefall are all part of the block. Book early if you're targeting a weekend slot in summer, as a single operator with a 5/5 rating fills fast.
Exit at 4,000 m is the peak hit: you go from standing in the plane door to freefall in under a second. The transition from noise and wind to weightlessness is what most jumpers describe as the sharpest rush of the whole experience.
At 4,000 m, there's no visual ground reference the way there is on a cliff edge or a tower. Most first-timers report that the altitude actually reduces the 'height fear' response compared to lower-level activities.
From 4,000 m, a tandem freefall typically lasts around 30 to 40 seconds before the parachute deploys. The full canopy ride down adds several more minutes of air time.
Instructors at Skydive SPA operate in French, English and Dutch. You'll receive your full pre-jump briefing in your preferred language.
