At 69 €, MONTE MEDIO's guided via ferrata in Montmin is the only option on the table, and it covers a half-day route that ends with a zip line. Physical level is open to everyone, so prior climbing experience is not required. Guides speak both English and French. Book early in summer: the Talloires-Montmin area fills fast between June and August, and this type of slot disappears quickly.
The zip line at the end of the route. After navigating the iron rungs and steel cables on the cliff face, you finish with an aerial descent that puts everything into perspective.
You'll be exposed to open air on vertical rock for much of the route. If heights make you freeze, that's worth knowing before you go. If they give you a rush, this is exactly the right format.
The tour runs a half day. Plan your morning or afternoon accordingly and don't schedule anything tight right after.
Yes. The physical level is listed as 'Everybody welcome', and the guide from MONTE MEDIO leads the group throughout. No prior via ferrata experience is needed.
