Both canyons depart from the same meeting point near Villalba de la Sierra and run a half day with Tabei Adventures, rated 5.0/5. The Júcar canyon at 39 € is the entry point: open to all levels, it follows the Júcar River through the limestone gorges carved into the Cuenca highlands. The Portilla canyon at 50 € costs 11 € more and targets those ready to push the intensity further in a different section of the canyon network. If this is your first time rappelling into a narrow gorge, start with the Júcar. If you've done one descent and want more exposure, book Portilla directly.
