Fly Lisbon Paragliding runs one tandem flight that fits virtually any profile: the physical level is open to everybody, the session lasts 1h, and the fixed price is 75 €. You launch from Fonte da Telha Beach on the Costa da Caparica coastline and ride Atlantic thermals with a view over Lisbon across the Tagus estuary. Briefings are available in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. Book directly with the operator and confirm wind conditions the day before.
The launch from the dune at Fonte da Telha Beach is the sharpest adrenaline spike: you go from standing still to airborne in a few running steps, with the Atlantic opening up directly below you.
The physical level is listed as everybody welcome, so no prior experience or specific fitness is required. That said, if you have a strong fear of heights, discuss it with the pilot before takeoff so they can adjust the flight profile.
The total booking slot is 1h, which includes the pre-flight briefing and harness fitting. Effective airtime depends on thermal conditions on the day.
The season runs from May through September, when Atlantic thermals are most reliable and coastal winds off the Setúbal Peninsula create consistent lift conditions.

Equipment
Wear closed-toe shoes and light layers you can move in: the harness fits over your clothes and the pilot handles all technical gear. The full slot is 1h, so carry a small bottle of water and leave bulky bags at ground level.
