Both tours are operated by Paragliding Fun, priced at 150 € each, and rated 5.0/5 across 9 reviews. The difference is purely geographic. Tour 0 launches from Agia Efthymia village and puts you directly above the Gulf of Itea, trading altitude for a dramatic coastal panorama over open water. Tour 1 departs from the entrance to the Delphi archaeological site, positioning you above one of the most iconic mountain landscapes in Greece, with the Parnassus slopes dropping sharply beneath you. Both run 1h and welcome all fitness levels. Pick Tour 0 for a sea-and-cliffs sensation, pick Tour 1 if the mountain void is what you're after.
Tandem paragliding flight in the Gulf of Itea from Delphi
Launching from Agia Efthymia, you get 1h above the Gulf of Itea coastline for 150 €, rated 5.0/5.
Tandem Paragliding Flight in Delphi in Greece
Takeoff directly from the Delphi archaeological site entrance gives first-timers 1h of Parnassus mountain air for 150 €.
The launch. You run a few steps off the slope and the ground disappears beneath you in under two seconds. After that, the thermal lift does the work and the pilot manages altitude while you absorb the view.
None at all. Both tours are rated 'Everybody welcome' by the operator. You sit in a harness in front of the certified pilot, who controls the glider the entire time.
The Gulf of Itea flight gives you a coastline perspective with open water below. The Delphi flight puts you above steep mountain terrain, the archaeological site and the Pleistos valley gorge. Two very different visual experiences at the same price.
Each session is 1h total, which includes ground briefing and gear-up time. Effective airtime varies with thermals and conditions on the day, which the pilot will assess before takeoff.
The season runs May through September. Thermal conditions in central Greece are typically strongest in July and August, which means more lift and potentially longer airtime, but also peak demand. Book at least two weeks ahead in summer.

Equipment
Both operators handle all flight gear, so bring only what you wear: closed shoes with ankle support, comfortable layers since air temperature drops with altitude, and sunglasses. Leave backpacks and loose items at the meeting point.
