All 3 routes run through Huesca's Aragonese Pyrenees with Awa Aventura, and all accept beginners except one. Start with the Duendes del Sorrosal (40 €, 1.5h, K3): the shortest intro on the market, ideal if you want to test iron-rung climbing without committing a half-day. Step up to Cascada del Sorrosal in Broto (50 €, 3h, K3) for double the exposure and the waterfall backdrop that defines this canyon. The Croqueta de Obarra in Beranuy (60 €, 4h, K4) is the only route rated "Sporty": longer, physically demanding, and reserved for participants ready to push their arms and legs for 4 solid hours on technical sections. The 20 € gap between entry and top tier directly reflects that jump in duration and difficulty.
Via Ferrata Duendes del Sorrosal (Huesca), Aragonese Pyrenees
1.5h on a K3 route for 40 €, open to all levels: the lowest barrier to your first iron-rung climb in the Pyrenees.
Via Ferrata Cascada del Sorrosal in Broto (Huesca), Aragonese Pyrenees
3h next to the Sorrosal waterfall for 50 €, still accessible to everybody but long enough to genuinely test your legs and grip.
On the K4 Croqueta de Obarra route, the crux sections involve sustained vertical climbing on iron rungs with significant exposure to the void below. At K3 level, the Cascada del Sorrosal puts you right next to a waterfall on the cliff face, which adds a raw sensory intensity that pure altitude alone doesn't deliver.
A healthy respect for the void helps, but the iron rungs, cables and harness keep you secured to the rock at all times. The K3 routes (Duendes and Cascada) are rated accessible to everybody, so first-timers with moderate vertigo regularly complete them.
K3 means moderate difficulty: physical effort is real but manageable for most people in decent shape. K4 steps into the "Sporty" category, with longer sequences of technical climbing, more demanding grip strength and a 4-hour commitment on the rock.
The Cascada del Sorrosal at 50 € for 3h is the strongest value: 3 hours of exposure on the cliff face next to a waterfall, still accessible to all levels, for just 10 € more than the entry option.

Equipment
Harness, helmet and via ferrata lanyard are provided by Awa Aventura. Wear closed-toe shoes with a stiff sole (approach shoes or trail runners, not sandals) and bring a layer for the cliff face, which stays cooler than the valley floor. For the 4h K4 Croqueta de Obarra route, pack water and a snack: sustained climbing at "Sporty" level burns through energy fast.
Getting there
All K3 sessions meet at Vía Ferrata Cascada del Sorrosal K3, Ctra. Oto, 22370 Broto, Huesca; the K4 Croqueta de Obarra route starts at Ferrata de Obarra, 22484 Veracruz, Huesca. Both are reachable by car from Huesca city via the A-138 road through the Aragonese Pyrenees.
