Canyoning down river Iannello in Laino Borgo, Calabria
The tour is rated 'Everybody welcome', meaning no prior canyoning experience is required. Expect rappels, water jumps and fast water slides typical of Calabrian canyon terrain, calibrated so first-timers can handle the full 3h route.
Typically the first rappel down a wet rock face into a pool below. RIVER TRIBE guides brief you on technique before you go, but that first drop into the canyon is where the adrenaline peaks.

The season runs May through September. Early summer (May to June) brings higher water flow and faster descents. July and August are warmer and more accessible for beginners.
