How to choose

Three options, three very different intensity levels. At 70 €, the tandem flight with Air Zone Parapente is a 45-min to 1.5h introduction above Millau: you fly, your pilot does the rest. At 250 €, Tête à l'envAIR delivers 1h of acrobatic paragliding, meaning spirals, wingovers and sustained G-forces that put your body under real pressure. That price gap reflects the level of sensation, not just flight time. At 550 €, the 5-half-day course with Air Zone Parapente is a different product entirely: you learn to pilot solo, handle thermals over the Grands Causses plateau, and manage your own glider. Choose by intensity first, then budget.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most intense option available in Millau?

The acrobatic flight at 250 € is the highest-intensity single session: spirals and dynamic maneuvers generate significant G-forces over 1 hour. The introductory course builds intensity progressively across 5 half-days, but each individual session is physically milder.

Do I need any experience to try the acrobatic flight?

No prior experience is required. Both the tandem flight and the acrobatic flight list 'Everybody welcome' as the physical level, meaning the pilot handles all technical decisions.

What is the difference in sensation between a tandem flight and an acrobatic session?

A standard tandem flight is a smooth, scenic experience above Millau's gorges. The acrobatic session adds intentional aerial maneuvers, which produce a physically demanding rush that a classic flight does not.

Is paragliding in Millau seasonal?

Yes. The season runs from May to September, when thermals above the Tarn valley and the Causses plateau are most reliable for sustained flight.

Which option is right if I want to fly solo after the experience?

The 550 € introductory course across 5 half-days is the only option that trains you to pilot independently. The tandem and acrobatic flights are passenger experiences only.
